Eggnog Cream Tartlets

Creamy, Cozy, and Perfect for Christmas: Eggnog Cream Tartlets

Introduction:
Bring the warm, spiced flavor of eggnog to your holiday dessert table with these mini Eggnog Cream Tartlets. Buttery tart shells filled with creamy eggnog custard, topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg, make these treats both festive and elegant. Perfect for parties, family gatherings, or gifting to friends!

Ingredients (makes ~12 mini tartlets):

  • Crust:

    • 1 ½ cups crushed graham crackers or digestive biscuits

    • 3 Tbsp melted butter

  • Filling:

    • 250 g (≈9 oz) cream cheese, softened

    • ⅓ cup powdered sugar

    • ½ cup heavy cream, whipped until soft peaks

    • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    • 2 drops Eggnog flavour concentrate

How to Make:

  1. Prepare the crust: Mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter. Press into mini tart molds and chill for 10 minutes or bake for 5–7 minutes at 350°F (175°C) until lightly golden. Cool completely.

  2. Make the custard filling: Whip cream cheese, powdered sugar, and whipped cream together until smooth. Add vanilla extract and eggnog flavour concentrate. Mix gently until combined.

  3. Assemble the tartlets: Spoon the custard into the prepared tart shells. Smooth the tops with a spatula.

  4. Chill to set: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, allowing the filling to firm up.

  5. Finish and serve: Top each tartlet with a dollop of whipped cream and dust with nutmeg. Optional: use a cinnamon stick as a festive “spoon.”

Serving Idea:
These mini tartlets are beautiful when served on a holiday platter or in clear mini cups to show off the creamy custard. Perfect for cozy Christmas gatherings, cookie swaps, or as a small gift for neighbors and friends.
